Shriiiiiek! So spooky!
Dark like the soil the zombies and vampires were buried in. White like your face when you realize they are coming after you. Red like your blood, once you are bitten. In other words: a cheesecake cupcake with a tasty Oreo cookie base and a strawberry sauce topping. It’s so tasty, it’s scary.

Ingredients
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 14 ounces (400 grams) of cream cheese
- ½ cup (100 grams) of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 ounces (100 ml) of cream
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavor
- 3 generous handfuls of fresh strawberries
- 12 spooky gummy sweets as a topping
- 12 paper muffin cases
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit/175 degrees Celsius, then place the paper muffin cases in a metal cupcake or muffin mold and add one Oreo cookie per case. Now if that ain’t a super fast way to fix a cake base, I don’t know what is. As for the filling, add the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, cream, lemon and vanilla to a bowl and whisk it until all the ingredients are well blended. Pour the dough evenly into the cupcake cases, but make sure you leave a little bit of space on top for the strawberry mirror. Bake the cupcakes in the oven for 20 minutes. In the meantime, for our last step, cook the strawberries on a small pot until they are liquefied. Use a blender to puree them even further. Once the cupcakes are out of the oven, apply 2 tablespoons of the strawberry sauce to each cupcake and let it solidify while the cupcakes cool down. After approximately 45 minutes, they should be sufficiently so. Now place a spooky gummy sweet on top and your cupcakes are ready and fully dressed to impress. Add a little bit of powdered sugar, if you want to go for that dusty look & feel.
